Palliative Care

Comfort, dignity and support - every step of the way

When someone reaches the later stages of life, they deserve more than medical care. They deserve gentle, respectful support, a calm environment, and people who treat every moment with meaning.

At Pressbeau, our palliative care is built around the person, not just the condition. We listen, we adapt, and we do everything we can to bring comfort, peace and presence - for both residents and their families.

Warm words

My mum has been so well looked after at Youell Court. It's a lovely warm, friendly community and she settled in quickly with the support of the staff, who are always responsive and supportive. The daily activities are varied and fun, and Mum is always happy and smiling. As a family we feel reassured she's safe and well looked after — it was the ideal place for her."

H V, Daughter of Resident
Friend or relative of the family

We visited in person and were immediately impressed by the attitude of all the staff and the 'vibe' of the place. The whole home felt more like home than 'a home', and we witnessed simple acts of kindness and care throughout our visit. The staff made my father's care individual, and although he was only with them a month, I could not have wished for better care. I'm forever grateful to them."

Philip B, Son of Resident
Friend or relative of the family

The home is lovely and warm and the staff are always kind and supportive when we visit, actively keeping us involved in Mum's care plan. Mum enjoys the countless activities, and as her memory has deteriorated we're so grateful for all their kindness, love and support. For anyone looking for a place to care for, encourage and support a loved one with dignity in later life, I highly recommend Youell Court."

Beverley W, Daughter-in-law of Resident
Friend or relative of the family

Mum moved into Youell Court following the passing of my Dad. She has been made to feel very welcome and settled in well. The carers are very kind to her and take great care when dealing with her needs, and the management visit often to make sure Mum is happy and comfortable."

David E, Son of Resident
Friend or relative of the family

My mother first came to Youell Court for respite care and we've been so happy with how well they've looked after her that she's been there ever since. She's received exemplary care and is doing so well. I couldn't be happier with the team and the manager — they are excellent and I would thoroughly recommend Youell Court."
